Rafael Teixeira

Born in 2015 in Santa Maria da Feira, Rafael is an extraordinary boy born with cerebral palsy. Since leaving the hospital at 2 months old, he has received daily therapy to further his development and gain as much autonomy as possible.
He receives physical therapy, speech therapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, developmental therapy, hippotherapy, and intensive therapy every 6 months for further development. He attends the APPC (Specialized Child and Adolescent Therapy Center) where he receives group therapy to better integrate into society. He went from a child who couldnt sit up to taking his first steps. He still cant speak and is now taking his first steps toward eating.
Rafael has immense potential, but financial resources are difficult for his parents to obtain, and this sometimes prevents him from following his path.
All together, we will continue this fight for Rafael.
